The AI Agent Hype is a Lie (do this instead)
Hey
Last week, I sent this email, but unfortunately, my domain was broken and nobody received it. I’m resending it in the hope that you find this valuable.
Most AI agent tools sold by “gurus” are broken.
They screech to a halt with anything complex.
I just spent days migrating my automations to a local n8n server.
Saved a few dollars.
Learned a shit-ton.
This is how you get real autonomy.
You don’t buy a fickle, polished tool.
You build your own system.
Here’s the setup:
- Define the Need.
・ Describe your full workflow to GPT-o3.
・ Ask it for a JSON file you can directly import into n8n.
・ Be specific.
- Connect the Pieces.
・ Link all your APIs.
・ Approve accounts.
・ This is the manual part. It takes time.
- Test and Refine.
・ Run the automation.
・ When it breaks (it will), take a screenshot of the error.
・ Paste it into Claude Sonnet 4. Ask it to guide you.
PRO TIP: Open a project in Claude and turn every thread about n8n into an artifact so that it remembers your api keys and all your little twirks. It will save you hours in the future.
It’s slow.
It’s messy at first.
But you get complete control.
No black boxes.
No hidden costs.
You earn the autonomy.
This is how you turn AI from a trending s
hiny toy into leverage.
Next week, I’m building out some advanced AI agents using n8n and my latest prompts.
I’ll keep you posted on the process.
I’m no developer, [FIRST NAME GOES HERE], but these are my go-to tools for giving clients an edge.
I need to know them well enough to ensure we’re maximizing every minute.
What complex task are you tired of doing manually?
Reply and let me know.
Ohad.
PS: If you’re feeling stretched thin and need help figuring out what actually matters right now, I’ve opened a few spots for 30-min strategy calls this week.
Reply “clarity” and I’ll send over the link.
